Meet Dr. Vivian Valenty, Ph.D

VB Cosmetics embodies vision, integrity, out of the box thinking, molecular engineering, chemistry, creativity, persistence and balance—all standout qualities of its founder, Dr. Vivian Valenty, Ph.D.

Dr. Valenty is armed with a passion for the pure healing power of nature. Her acumen for creative effective skincare products using only the finest natural ingredients began in her family’s garden in the Philippines as a child, and was honed through years of education and training: a B.S. Chemistry degree from the prestigious Mapúa Institute of Technology in Manila, a Ph. D in Chemistry at the Pennsylvania State University, a professional stint teaching organic chemistry and biochemistry at Skidmore College, blood coagulation research at the New York State Department of Health, product patents for Staley Manufacturing Company, and developing new silicone-based materials for General Electric.

After inventing and patenting the first UV curing topcoat for fingernail polish in 1990, she ventured into skincare and launched VB Cosmetics in 1993. She conceptualized VB Cosmetics, Inc., an Arizona-based, ISO 9001:2008 company committed to providing impeccable customer care and eco-friendly skincare solutions.
